How to set it up

The same steps you will see in the product, so there are no surprises.

In SiteGauge, open Alerts, click Add channel and pick Slack (the button below lands you on that exact form).

Go to api.slack.com/apps and open your app, or click Create New App then From scratch.

Pick the workspace, open Incoming Webhooks and turn it on, then click Add New Webhook to Workspace and choose the channel to post in.

Copy the webhook URL Slack gives you, paste it into SiteGauge and click Add and verify.

Send a test message from the channel card to confirm it lands where you expect.

Which plan do I need for Slack alerts?
Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram and webhook channels start on the Standard plan at $24 per month. The Free plan sends alerts by email.
Do I need to install a Slack app from the marketplace?
No. SiteGauge posts through a standard Slack incoming webhook. You create one at api.slack.com/apps for the channel you want, paste the URL into SiteGauge, and you are done in a couple of minutes.
Will a busy page flood the channel?
No. Changes are grouped on your alert cadence (every 30 minutes by default) and each channel can carry its own override, from instant through to one roundup a day. Site-health alerts such as outages and SSL expiry always go straight through.
Can I post to more than one Slack channel?
Yes. Each Slack incoming webhook posts to one channel, so add a SiteGauge channel per webhook and give each its own cadence.
