One check = one scheduled visit to one monitored page. All detection modes run on every check, namely visual comparison, text extraction and element monitoring, so it's one flat unit at every tier.

JavaScript rendering, geo-targeting, proxies and login flows don't change the price. A check counts whether or not a change is found; failed checks are retried automatically and free.
How do I estimate how many checks I'll use?
Checks per month = pages × checks-per-day × 30. So 10 pages checked hourly is 10 × 24 × 30 = 7,200 checks. Use the calculator at the top of this page: enter your page count and frequency and it recommends the right tier.
What happens if I run out of checks?
Your monitors simply pause until the allowance resets on your next billing date. No surprise overage bills and no automatic tier changes. You'll get in-app and email warnings at 80%, 95% and 100% of your allowance, and you can upgrade any time to raise the limit and resume immediately.
Do unused checks roll over?
No. Allowances reset on your monthly billing date and don't roll over. This keeps the pricing simple and predictable: you're always paying for the capacity you chose.
What's the difference between an editor and a viewer?
Editors create, configure and manage monitors and count against your seat limit. Viewers receive alerts, see dashboards and browse change history, and they're unlimited and free on every paid tier. On any paid plan you can distribute SiteGauge to as many stakeholders as you like at no extra cost. (The Free plan is single-user; inviting others starts on Standard.)
Can I add more editor seats?
Yes, on Pro and Business: extra editors are $7/month each, prorated. Pro includes 3 editors and Business includes 10. Viewers remain unlimited and free regardless.
How is Enterprise priced?
Enterprise is quoted per estate rather than from a price list. Your quote is shaped by how many pages you monitor, how often you check them, how long you retain history, and the support and security terms you need. Custom terms, billed annually, seats are never a line item, and there is never a forced mid-contract upgrade. Talk to sales and we will model your estate with you.
Is there a fair-use policy?
Our per-check price assumes a normal mix of check types. Where proxied, geo-routed or authenticated checks exceed 20% of your monthly volume on a sustained basis, we may move the account to custom pricing with 30 days' notice. This is invisible to the vast majority of customers: it's just a backstop.
What about VAT and currency?
Prices are shown in USD, our primary billing currency. UK customers can check out in GBP, and VAT (or applicable local sales tax) is added at checkout via Stripe Tax where required.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at your next renewal. The Free plan needs no credit card, and paid plans start with a 14-day free trial you can cancel any time.
